The story
Grace Removals have been providing a quality removal service to individuals, corporations and government on a local, domestic and international basis for over 110 years.
Sick of the long and boring usual online quotation process, Grace asked us us to create something that was simple to use, engaging and detailed enough to give Grace the best chance at providing accurate quotes for their enquiries. The system would walk the user through the process of describing their home by creating rooms, adding items to those rooms and ultimately submitting it all directly into their internal sales system via an XML Gateway.

The challenge
Working with the team at Grace, we first went through a requirements analysis phase that helped both parties better understand the needs and objectives of the project. With the requirements in hand, our developers and designers worked together with the customer to build detailed wire-frames before starting the graphic design. Grace were involved at each stage of the process providing feedback and discussing advice from our team. Once the designs were approved, they were then given to our expert developers to build the system and integrate it with their existing internal system.
The result
Within days of deployment, the system had successfully delivered more than 100 quotes to their branches all around Australia. User feedback from the tool has been overwhelmingly positive with 83% rating the system at 4 or above out of 5. Needless to say, both 4mation and Grace are very happy with the outcome so far! The work doesn’t stop here though, with future plans to continue to refine and improve the tool based on user feedback and new ideas from both parties.
