Understanding goals
We run an initial consultation to understand your goals, and identify the custom solutions that will best meet your goals and budget.

Development proposal & roadmap
We produce a detailed scope of work outlining how we will deliver the end result via a roadmap, including a prioritised list of functionality, system and user workflows, recommended system architecture, and overall project timelines. Then, we collaboratively review and agree on these artefacts before starting the User Experience (UX) design.
Our User Experience process is flexible and is scaled to deliver the right outcomes for your project, which may include user research, information architecture design, user journey design and wireframe / prototype design.

Product development
Our development team begins by setting up the recommended architecture and begins coding. We make incremental design and software releases which you can track 24×7 through your custom Jira dashboard, displaying real-time project status. We ask for your collaboration, feedback and approval on every feature release so you can see the progress as we go and are in control of your project.

Feedback
We use the agile methodology to implement your feedback and user feedback quickly before moving to the next iteration. This is done in conjunction with conducting end-to-end testing of the product every step of the way, ensuring we can minimise issues.

Deployment
Once we have your final approval on the project we deploy the tested custom solution to the production environment and ensure the application is running smoothly..

How much does custom software development cost?
The cost depends on how complex your software project is. However, we do have three packages to choose from – Basic (4 months, $50,000), Premium (6 months, $100,000) and Platinum (9 months, $150,000). Contact us if you are in need of a tailored solution.
What is the R&D tax incentive?
It is an Australian federal government initiative encouraging companies to scale up, by giving a tax offset on eligible research and development projects. Based on your company revenue, you can possibly receive between 8.5% and 43% of the expenses on R&D activities back.
What are the roles in a development team/who will I be working with?
Our software development teams generally consist of:
– Product Manager validate your ideas, scope features and develop product roadmaps;
– UX/ UI Specialists providing insights and recommendations on top-quality user experiences;
– Project Managers manage the developers and resources. Establish and maintain communication with you to ensure your project is managed effectively and delivered on time and on budget.
– Software Architects to define and manage technical scope and lead the software development team;
– Specialist Developers for every part of the development process, including front-end and back-end developers;
–Testers to identify and fix issues before go-live.
Who owns the source code and IP for my custom software?
You are granted an owned license to the software, so you own and can use, modify and commercialise the IP as you see fit. If you have any IP related questions please speak to one of our team.
Do you offer support and maintenance?
Yes. We offer ongoing maintenance and support that helps you maintain, and enhance your solution based on performance and user feedback. Check out our ongoing development and support packages.
How is privacy and confidentiality assured?
We have NDA’s and confidentiality agreements ready to be signed as needed and our local team are all bound by confidentiality agreements.
Do you use offshore resources?
No. We are proudly Australian owned with 100% of our staff working in Australia (mostly NSW, VIC and QLD). This means a team who understands the local market, the importance of data privacy and timely service in AEST.
What’s the difference between custom software and SAAS software?
Custom software enables you to tailor features and functionality to your specific needs. A great option if you want to build a competitive advantage for your organisation.
SAAS software tends to be cheaper (at least at small scale), and is difficult to differentiate your business with as lots of companies use the same solution. A great option when starting out, or for activities that won’t differentiate your business.
